Set amidst the Kannan Devan hills, Munnar a small hill station located on the eastern part of the state of Kerala is a major travel destination of South India. Placed at an altitude of 1524 m above sea level, it lies 130 kms east of Kochi and borders the state of Tamilnadu. Famous for the lush greenery surroundings, Munnar is breath takingly beautiful and is considered the heaven of peace and tranquillity.
